Here's my first layout using the Snow Kissed Collection:
Supplies:

Cascading Fuchsia Die, HCD1-763

Frolicking Frosty and Spruce Die, HCD1-7107
Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Die, HCD1-7108
Gift Box and Mini Snowflakes Die, HCD1-7109
Snow Kissed Paper Collection, HCDP1-269
Other Materials:
Cuttlebug Die Cutting Machine, StazOn Archival Ink (Jet Black), Prismacolor Pencils (PC908, PC912, PC946), Embossing Ink, Odorless Mineral Spirits, embossing tool, liquid pearls, blue half pearls, rhinestone string, vellum

I chose an older picture of my hubby and I taken in Steven's Pass in Washington State back in 2011. It's one of the few times I've seen snow (It was actually my first time!) and I just love this picture of the two of us together! I went with a softer feel for this layout and used lots of blues, greens and whites.

Here are some close ups of my layout:

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Trim a pattern paper from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection to 10.5"x10.5" and adhere over a coordinating pattern paper from the same collection. Die cut and dry emboss 6 large snowflakes and add them to the center of the background in a circle to create a large doily. Trim two 6"x6" papers and add to center of the doily. Add your 6"x4" picture over it. Stamp the two larger spruce trees on white cardstock. Color, die cut and add glitter and set aside to dry. Once dry, add to the left side of the photo. Heat emboss a bunch of white snowflakes in different sizes on light blue cardstock. Choose a few and pop dot them using a smaller snowflake on top of a larger one. Finish these by adding a light blue pearl to their center. Add to your layout as shown. Stamp and emboss on vellum a few flowers from the Cascading Fuchsia Cling Stamp Set and die cut with its coordinating die. Gently shape your flowers and layer a smaller flower inside a larger one. Finish your flower by adding white prills to their centers. Add one over the trees and three on the opposite corner of the photo. Finally, randomly add a few pieces of string rhinestones to the inside of the 10.5"x10.5" pattern paper as shown.

wednesday...Heartfelt Creations

Happy Wednesday! Thank you for stopping by my blog again this week! I have a girly, princessy layout to share with you of my adorable nieces today using this month's collection! I absolutely love how this layout turned out so I had to redo it to give my friend a copy of the layout! Come back later this week so I can share it with you (I did change the colors in her layout a bit because I didn't have enough of the same papers).

Supplies:
Double Dots 100pc. -3D Foam Circles, DDOTS
Luggage and Tags Die, HCD1-745
Birds and Blooms Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3644
Leafy Branch Die, HCD1-757
Butterfly Medley Die, HCD1-759
Butterfly Medley Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3650
Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter, 85-glitter
Blazing Poppy Petals Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3674
Blazing Poppy Die, HCD1-764
Regal Borders and Pockets Die, HCD1-779
Minnie Pearls Prills, ANC803
Celebrate the Season Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3747
Celebrate the Season Die, HCD1-7106
Celebrate the Season Paper Collection, HCDP1-268
Other Materials:
Cuttlebug Die Cutting Machine, StazOn Archival Ink (Jet Black), Prismacolor Pencils (PC908, PC918), Crayola Coloring Pencils (Teal), Odorless Mineral Spirits, embossing tool, doily, white thread, liquid pearls

My friend let me use these adorable pictures of my nieces that she took when they all went to Disney. The girls dressed up in Cinderella's costumes, which just happens to perfectly match this month's papers perfectly!

I used the Blazing Poppy Petals Cling Stamp Set for the larger flowers and the Birds and Blooms Cling Stamp Set for the tiny pink flowers to compliment the blues and purples on the layout. I also added a few butterflies in white and a pair of skates and the green branches from this month's collection.

You can see a close up of the smaller flowers with the Prills (I just discovered these and I'm in love with them!) and the soft green branches from this month's collection!

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Use a paper from the Celebrate the Season Paper Collection as your background for this layout. Add a white 8" doily to the left center of the page. Die cut one of the borders from the Regal Borders and Pockets Die in dark purple and trim two coordinating strips of pattern paper from the Celebrate the Season Paper Collection. Trim the strips of paper to 8.5" and 9.25" and add them over the doily. Add the leftover pieces on the right side of the layout as shown. Add two 3"x4" pictures over them and the die cut border. Stamp the butterflies, leaves, and skates on white cardstock. Color them with coloring pencils and die cut them with their coordinating die. Leave the butterflies white. Stamp the small flowers from the Birds and Blooms Cling Stamp Set on pink pattern paper from the same collection and die cut using their coordinating die. Use the Minnie Pearls Prills for their centers and set aside to dry. Stamp the Blazing Poppy Petals Cling Stamp Set on blue pattern paper and assemble two large flowers as shown. Add a liquid pearl drop to their centers. Add glitter to all of the elements and set aside to dry. Once dry, add them to your layout under the pictures. Use the Luggage and Tags Die and die cut a teal tag and add to the layout. Add a small bow using a thick, white thread.
