I used a picture of my best friend (the maid of Honor) and I on my wedding day, after I had changed into something a bit comfier than my fluffy wedding dress! I loved the purples in the new collection and wanted to make some purple roses to embellish this layout. The new pattern papers are sooo beautiful!I felt bad cutting them so I kept as much of the paper uncovered and uncut as I could!

Here are some close ups:

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Trim a piece of pattern paper from the Classic Rose Paper Collection to 6.5"x4.5" and distress the edges. Mount you  4"x6" photo on it and adhere over a coordinating 12"x12" pattern paper from the same collection. Die cut two large tags and a smaller one from the pattern paper and tuck the two larger ones behind the photo as shown. Die cut a white border from the Regal Borders and Pockets Die and two strips from the pattern paper and add under the left side of the photo. Stamp a bunch of roses from the Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set, color with Prismacolor Pencils and die cut using their coordinating die and form roses in different sizes. Use fluid chalk ink on some of them to give them a different purple color. Stamp a few leaves, rose vines and rose wreath, color and die cut using their coordinating dies. Stamp and color a few butterflies from the Butterfly Medley Cling Stamp Set and die cut as well. Glimmer mist the flowers, vines, wreath, and butterflies and set aside to dry. Once dry, add glitter to them and set aside to dry again. Add these elements to your page as shown once everything is dry and use tiny liquid pearl drops to embellish the butterflies, sentiments and die cut border.

Add the die cut border over the top side of the pennant and punch two holes in each pennant. Run a brown ribbon through all the pennants to hold your banner together. Add mini clothespins (two per pennant) to each pennant. Die cut 4 circle doilies in white from the Raindrops on Roses Die and add them to each pennant. Then, add the letters to spell out the word LOVE. Embellish each pennant using Want 2 Scrap pearls over the letters and liquid pearls around the perimeter of the pattern paper. wednesday...Heartfelt Creations September New Release

Welcome everyone! Today is the second Wednesday of the month which means that we have a brand new Heartfelt Creations Release!

Beautiful in color, exquisite in fragrance, and ever so dignified, the rose is one of the most coveted flowers found in chic bouquets, or carefully tended flower gardens. Breathtaking in bud form, as a blossom gently opening, or in full bloom, it is a flower that calls attention to itself and beckons you to pause and quietly reflect upon its elegance. Heartfelt Creations invites you to stop, fall quiet and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the new Classic Rose Collection! Filled with delicate illustrations of roses ranging from buds, to full blossoms, rose wreaths and flower filled vines, the three cling stamp sets and coordinating dies included in this assembling will have you building gorgeous rose gardens filled with varying sizes of dimensional flowers as realistic as those found in nature themselves. I embellished my layout witht he new flowers, green swirly leaves, butterflies and beautiful Want 2 Scrap Pearl Swirl and pearls!

Here are some close ups of my layout:

Fussy cut a large heart (approximately 8" across) from a light color pattern paper from the Classic Rose Paper Collection. Distress the edges and ink the edges them using the Victorian velvet distress ink. Machine stitch all around the edges and adhere over the center of a paper from the Classic Rose Paper Collection. Add your 6"x4" photo over it as shown. For the flowers, stamp a bunch of different size flowers from the Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set on peach colored pattern paper from the same collection and die cut the using their coordinating die. Shape the flowers to form two large closed and two medium closed roses. Also make a few rose buttons and a few open roses and add Prills to their centers. Add glitter to their edges and set aside to dry. Stamp a few leaves and vines and add color using the Forest Moss distress ink. Finish with a layer of Pearl glimmer mist. Stamp and die cut two large butterflies from the Butterfly Medley Cling Stamp Set. Color just one of the sides and add glimmer mist to them. Once dry, add pearls to their centers. Cut a Want 2 Scrap pearl swirl and add them around the photo. Use the flowers, greenery and butterfly to embellish the layout as shown. Here's a close up of my card:

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Trim a 4.75"x 6.75" blue pattern paper from the Celebrate the Season Paper Collection and ink the edges using the Stormy Sky distress ink. Adhere to a white 5"x7" card base. Die cut the large oval doily from the Eyelet Oval Die in white and adhere to the center of the card. Die cut the oval from the same set. Stamp two medium trees from the Snow Kissed Spruce Cling Stamp Set on each side and stamp the smaller one on a piece of scrap white cardstock. Die cut the smaller tree and add over the bigger two. Stamp the small snowflakes from the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Cling Stamp Set using the Stormy Sky distress ink on white cardstock and die cut. Randomly add the tiny flakes all around the oval scene. Dry emboss the eyelet oval on vellum, being careful to not cut the intricate lace. Layer over the snowy scene and adhere over the lacy larger oval. Add tiny liquid pearl dots all around the edge and set aside to dry. Stamp the large two snowflakes from the Snow Kissed Spruce Cling Stamp Set and die cut using its coordinating die. Layer them using pop dots. Make a medium size bow with sheer blue ribbon and add to the bottom left side of the card. Add the snowflake over the bow. Die cut one of the branches from the Gift Box and Mini Snowflakes Die three times, cut hem in half, and tuck them in around the blue bow. Finish the card off with tiny liquid pearls drops on the snowflake and a pre-printed title over the snowy scene.

I only used one sheet of pattern paper to make this mini and it's super easy to make!

This is one side of the tags. Each tag has a photo side and an embellished side.

Here are the same tags flipped around!

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Gift Box-Stamp the large tag from the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Cling Stamp Set in light and dark blue twice on pattern paper and die cut them using the matching die. Die cut two white tags and add the stamped image over the white one for reinforcement. Die cut the gift box from the Gift Box and Mini Snowflakes Die in white. Assemble the gift box and add a tag to the front and one to the back. Add a sentiment strip to the front of the gift box as well as some greenery and a large white bow.

Tag Album-Heat emboss in white each of the large snowflakes twice on dark blue cardstock. Layer a smaller one using pop dots. Die cut 4 large tags. These will hold your pictures. Print your pictures and trim to size to fit the tag. embellish each tag using scraps of pattern paper from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection and the embossed snowflakes. Die cut four tags out of the pre-printed pattern paper. I used only one sheet of pattern paper for this whole mini tag album. Embellish each tag using pre-printed sentiments, greenery die cuts and the embossed snowflakes. For one of these tags, stamp and die cut the smaller snowman from the Frolicking Frosty Cling Stamp Set. Color with Prismacolors and add flocking powder to the body  and highlight some areas with glitter. Adhere a photo tag with an embellished tag and add some floss on the top of the tag to tie it in together.
